In its linear version, David is available in three standard sizes - 307, 267, and 237 cm - with a seat height of 42 cm and depth of 56 cm. Thanks to the 24 modules available, it can be configured to create tailor-made solutions suitable for any design requirement. The raised structure is designed to convey a sense of lightness: the elliptical feet, completely concealed, give the sofa a floating appearance that enhances the purity of its shape. One of its most distinctive features is the armrest, available in two versions: a soft down-filled cushion or a natural oak tray. The project also includes the Dive Console to enrich the modularity. The elliptical-shaped wooden feet are made with computer numerical control while the special Iggy Grey coating with metallic effect enhances its curves. The seat is made from layers of polyurethane foam of different densities, while its structure is composed of folded sheet metal, with corner joints in Baydur. The anchoring strap system is designed to give the seat perfect comfort in whichever position you sit in. The polyurethane perimeter boxing ensures solid and resistant support over time thanks to the support of the folded sheet metal also covered in polyurethane. The Stardust design pouf was conceived as a project that goes beyond the distinction between furniture and material, between function and form. It is an element designed to be used both as an occasional seat and as a side surface, with a versatility that makes it particularly suited to outdoor spaces, while remaining perfectly integrated within contemporary indoor settings. Its identity takes shape through the production process itself: Stardust is crafted from a blend of resin, pigments, and recycled glass powder, currently derived from solar panels. A material that retains a strong expressive quality, with surfaces that are irregular, deep, and never entirely predictable. Its form is organic rather than geometric, designed to change depending on the point of view. Each angle offers a different perception, bringing it closer to a natural object than to an “industrial product.” Yet at its core lies an advanced design process, oriented toward replicability and quality control. Stardust thus becomes part of a broader exploration of the relationship between design, materiality, and transformation.
