Powell, or the quintessential modern-day sofa as Minotti sees it: welcoming, refined and informal. A seating system with fixed and sectional seats, designed to cater to a natural desire to relax. The fine balance of proportions, sartorial craftsmanship, every detail in Powell harks back to the style that has become Minotti’s identity. The aluminum base is a detail that cannot go unnoticed also because of its extra-glossy finish in an exclusive range of colors - Sand, Bronze, Granite and Pewter - thus offering out-of-the ordinary and sophisticated color combinations that match with the upholstery. The sofa appears to be slightly raised from the ground, almost suspended. Comfort is a must-have in every Minotti sofa. And in order to make Powell even more comfortable, a saddle hide head-rest has been provided, that can easily be placed near the arm and backrest and used to support the cushion, to offer the right support and maximum comfort. The head-rest is available in Mud, Chestnut, Tobacco and Black. The master craftsmanship is shown to perfection in the detailing such as the sofa profile that forms a teardrop in the corner with a 45° joint. The relaxed elegance of the Powell project is expressed in its simple styling and stands out in a meticulous craftsmanship with down feather padding both for the single seating cushion and for the backrest cushions, which makes for a very comfortable sofa. The precision of the profile that runs along the upper side of the sofa base and the sleek aluminum frame define its design and highlight its lightness.

Bash is one of our most appropriately named products – beaten, banged and bashed from large sheets of annealed brass – they functioned so far as great bowls or serving dishes but we were missing ovescaled platters and vases. Something to put a cherry blossom branch in, to use as an umbrella stand or even a most extravagant waste paper basket. The tray allows for bigger parties and more ceremonial snacks. Press is a series of lights made from the thickest and most transparent glass with a satisfyingly rounded linear surface detail. Bash is one of our most appropriately named products – beaten, banged and bashed from large sheets of annealed brass – they functioned so far as great bowls or serving dishes but we were missing ovescaled platters and vases. Something to put a cherry blossom branch in, to use as an umbrella stand or even a most extravagant waste paper basket. The tray allows for bigger parties and more ceremonial snacks. Swirl Dumbell is a large hook with a distinct silhouette, colouration and personality. Substantial in weight, smooth in texture and bold in pattern, Swirl will inject a fresh pop sensibility into any setting. Made from powdered residue from the marble industry, this sculptural hook is both decorative and functional. More Information The unique process with which Swirl is made involves recycling the powdered residue from the marble industry, mixing it with pigment and resin to create blocks of material that can then be sawn, sliced and turned on a lathe. Due to the nature of the pigmentation, each piece features a unique pattern due to the pouring process. Also available as a Medium Dumbell hook and Small and Large Cone hooks.

Spring Surface Brass CB

Spring is a series of lights made up of stainless steel SPRING SURFACE BRASS LED strips. Pliant ribbons of stainless steel have been arranged like a whisk around our custom-made dimmable Tom Dixon LED disc. The semi-transparent shape thus created can be adjusted to a variety of silhouettes - from a flat arrangement reminiscent of a spirograph drawing, to a flying saucer configuration, and on to a fuller shape akin to a pumpkin. More Information The nature of the spiral design allows the voluminous shades to be easily flat packed for transportation. This year, the Spring family has expanded and has been adapted into a wall and ceiling light.
