Brasilia
minotti > Sofa
Brasilia, designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, has an ultra-precise, contemporary, minimal style, rooted in Brazilian modernism. Minotti has successfully incorporated Kogan’s stylistic trademarks into the 2021 Collection, blending their charm with that of the overall design concept. A family of furniture with a highly innovative profile that reinterprets shapes from the past, transforming their apparent simplicity into a form of real beauty that conceals an intricately complex design concept: by juxtaposing different materials with strong powers of expression, it offers a new take on the distinctive style that identifies the Minotti brand. A design that looks to the future, made to stand the test of time and become a new classic. The family hosts a range of seats for different environments, from the living to the night area, including sofas, elements with one armrest, an armchair and ottoman, and a varied selection for the bedroom. It is characterised by a Mid-Century aesthetic revisited and modernised not only in its lines and volumes, but also in its use of materials, in particular Dark Brown stained palisander Santos, and in its elegant structural details. In this proposal, the distinctive characteristics of the Minotti brand are clearly visible: it does not focus so much on the design in terms of its shape, but rather on the project’s cultural elements, offering a new take on classic lines, volumes and proportions, and showcasing original new uses of materials. The seats, conceived for the home environment, can also play an original role in hospitality settings, given the wide variety of elements, coverings and configurations to choose from. The strong architectural feel conveyed by the volumes and proportions of Brasilia points to the world of Marcio Kogan, his interiors and architectures, paying tribute to the period of great cultural ferment that swept through Brazil in the 1950s, in which Oscar Niemeyer and Lùcio Costa were prominent figures. The seating elements are enclosed in a square frame in Dark Brown stained palisander Santos, sourced from responsibly managed forests, accommodating a system of even, comfortable padding, offering a comfy, cushioned seat. With their airy look, they rest on metal feet with a polished Brandy finish, a prime example of the continuous and constant interaction of materials exploited by Kogan - wood, metal, fabric, and leather - to evoke warmth and comfort. The Brasilia range comprises two sizes of sofa (196 and 273 cm in length), elements with one armrest in various lengths with and without a top - made of slender staves in Dark Brown stained Canaletto walnut or one piece in Dark Brown stained palisander Santos -, an armchair and a small ottoman.
Reeves "Bedwear"
minotti > Styling
The Reeves Bed can be topped with a luxurious set of linens that includes: cotton or linen sheets, bedspread and throw. The sheet set is in pure, yarn-dyed, combed cotton in Ash color. The other option is in pure linen and with it comes the introduction of a new color: Ocean Blue. Both sheet sets contain bottom and top sheet and a pair of pillow cases and are made entirely by hand. The reversible Reeves bedspread is in Leopold fabric 05 Ferro on one side and the other in Oxford 01 Bianco. The Reeves throw is made of 100% cashmere in the color Titanium and finished with a border in Nabuk color Saddle-Hide.
Capri Base
minotti > Armchair
Capri Base is the new edition of the iconic Capri armchair designed by Gordon Guillaumier. The result of a design study based on subtraction, Capri Base appears as a sculptural form emptied inside to create a soft curved shell, made even more comfortable by its goose-down seat cushion. The only concession to geometric rigour is the square Pewter-coloured metal base on which the upholstered volume rests. The side zips on the front of the armchair perform both an aesthetic function of decoration and a practical function, as they make the cover removable: a tailoring detail that contributes to making this furnishing piece a timeless icon. Capri Base can be completed with ottomans from the same family, available in two different sizes.
Solid Steel
minotti > Coffee table
The Solid Steel family of coffee tables is characterised by its clear 1970s inspiration: glossy and mirrored finishes, rigorous, overlapping and staggered volumes recreate a strong yet minimal architectural geometry, which perfectly complements different styles of living areas. The Solid Steel coffee tables are parallelepipeds with one or two staggered levels; in the two-volume version the finishes of the higher top are glossy lacquered Moka, Cappuccino, Malachite, Chestnut, or Moka open-pore lacquered ash, while the lower volume has the polished stainless steel frame with mirrored top. In the monobloc version, however, the frame is again in polished stainless steel or polished Bronze with four possible finishes for the top: Arabescato Grigio marble, Nero Marquina marble, open-pore Moka colour lacquered ash or mirror. The colour palette is consistent with the imagery of the living space by which they were inspired: mirrored stainless steel combined with coloured lacquers, wood and marble finished with a special smoothing treatment that enhances its matt texture, in stark contrast to the shine of the mirrored steel frame. These details are typical of the style of a brand that knows how to translate simplicity into sophistication, transforming a furnishing accessory into a strong and recognisable feature. The minimalism of their shape makes these coffee tables architectural objects with a big personality, incisive in the overall aesthetics of the space and yet easy to insert into many contexts: in the area in front of the sofa, but also at the side of the living room, as a support element, the ideal finishing touch to any environment. The Solid Steel coffee tables flawlessly follow the evolution of the Minotti range which, in the 2022 Collection, combines Scandinavian style with the striking effects of Japanese Zen: minimalism and in-depth research, simple elegance and maniacal attention to detail, the reduction of excesses and radiating brilliance. Harmonious contrasts in a perpetual balance between domestic life and Hospitality.
Osaka
minotti > Carpet
With its refined design, inspired by the 1950s, Osaka features a graphic pattern with a strong visual identity. The result of Minotti Studio's continuous and constant search for innovative and exclusive solutions and its virtuous collaboration with selected partners, its wool, sourced from New Zealand, is a guarantee of solid, proven quality, which gives the rug its preciousness, durability, soundproofing and pleasantly soft touch. Available in the colour Ash/Graphite and characterised by a ton-sur-ton chromatic effect, the rug lends itself to settings with a contemporary character; Osaka Flag is available in rectangular shape and even in customised sizes.
White
minotti > Sofa
Structure and proportions usher in a new architecture of the sofa. White seems to be a composite of perfectly balanced shapes. The repetitive overlapping of horizontal lines forms a highly distinctive aesthetic pattern that is further emphasized by the use of several different materials. The sofa base can be upholstered in fabric, leather or saddle-hide upon which the seat backs, cushions and tray tops are placed to create a captivating interplay of shapes and alternating positive and negative spaces. The sofa sits on die-cast aluminum Pewter-colored feet, an exclusive design by Minotti Studio, that are set at a 45° angle to the sofa corners, lending added flair, even to larger-sized compositions. To make the White sofa even more welcoming, the padding in the cushions was enhanced with a deeper layer of goose down, making them luxuriously soft and creating a pleasant contrast to the sleek formality of the sofa base.

minotti > Sofa

This wide range of modular seating systems by Rodolfo Dordoni offers great fl exibility and many customisation options, guaranteeing original interior design and highly versatile use. Its minimal linear design, compact volumes and characteristic metal base sitting close to the floor are the factors that have made Hamilton such a huge worldwide success since its launch in 2004. Its unmistakable metal base in particular, like a frame outlining the perimeter of the elements, has become one of Minotti’s distinctive features and subsequently appeared in other forms and fi nishes, setting a real sector trend. The Hamilton family of seats has never stopped evolving with time, hand in hand with the ongoing study of function, ergonomics and materials promoted by the company and highlighting its strong vocation for tailoring, inherent in the brand’s DNA. Kyoto
minotti > Carpet
The Kyoto rug, an eclectic, universal accessory for all types of open-air living areas, brings back the inspiration to the 1950s design. The innovative look of the Kyoto rug is a Minotti exclusive, created using unique looms and multi-coloured cords in shades of white, grey and black. Designed for outdoor living environments, it has all the technical qualities required to withstand humidity. The use of polypropylene fibre as a base for creating its weave guarantees its long durability. Square or rectangular in shape, it is proposed in the colour Ash.
Belt "Dining"
minotti > Chair
The distinctive characteristic and inspiration behind the Belt family, designed in the all-fabric or leather versions, is the idea of a belt that draws the profile of the body, encircling it, then breaking off and fastening on the front of the seat. In particular, in the leather version, the strip is sewn onto a piece of bonded leather to lend support and ensure a consistent thickness: it is applied to the covering as a belt is applied to a dress and an ultra-sophisticated crafting process is required to follow the curved shape of the seat and keep the visible seams perfectly straight and even. With its classic shape, the foam body designs a shell-like, enveloping backrest that welcomes and protects. The seat rests on a die-cast aluminium base with a polished Brandy-coloured anti-touch varnished finish, which enhances the armchair and, in its leather version, recalls the metal finishes of exquisite leather bags. The base is also available in Dark Brown stained Canaletto walnut or Black lacquered open-pore flamed ash. The family consists of a sofa, an armchair, a bergère with footstool, a smaller lounge armchair, and a dining little armchair.
Tape "Cord" Outdoor
minotti > Outdoor furniture
The Tape family of seats, which made its début in 2018, naturally evolves, incorporating items for the outdoor environment that maintain the undeniable elegance of the forms and concepts of the design, and add a few welcome variants that embrace the concept of outdoor living. The seats become deeper, larger and more relaxing, while the metal frame, in a new outdoor finish, is covered with the wicker-effect cords available in two colours: Mud and Liquorice. Here, the couture detail of Tape - the piece of ribbon that holds the feet on to the body - takes the form of a metal plate in Bronze colour, a finish that is the leitmotiv of all the outdoor seats of the 2019 Collection. The system offers many elements, ideal for creating relaxation areas also in small outdoor spaces or on urban rooftop terraces: from the armchair to the sofa, from the Paolina chaise longue to the original couch open at the back, from the chair to the coffee tables, up until the stool in two heights of 102 and 115 cm, in the collection from January 2020. The concept of the small tables in metal with Bronze finish is inspired by the distinctive Tape detail itself, which aesthetically secures the legs to the crown, inside which the top in Silver Beola or Corian® EC is inserted.
Jacques
minotti > Styling
The Jacques collection includes sofas, and ottomans available in several sizes, originated from a common design seed that transforms a vaguely retro style into a symbol of absolutely contemporary style. A sophisticated aesthetic language that is expressed in soft shapes, compact proportions and details with striking visual impact, like the metal base with Bronze finish. Elegant stitching emphasizes the curved silhouette of the Jacques armchairs and sofas, whose rounded shapes create a surprising contrast with the more formal, geometric outlines of the Lawrence sofa. All of the seating elements share the enveloping lines that offer a pleasant sensation of welcoming warmth, thanks to the soft cushioning in the seats and backrests. Structural perfection and flawless tailoring underscore the high level of expertise achieved by the company over the years and are the consummate expression of its masterful craftsmanship. The sophisticated elegance and compact proportions inherent in all the Jacques collection seating elements allow them to thrive harmoniously in any setting – from home decor to hospitality – and to be easily paired with the new seating systems. Thanks to its soft seat cushion and backrest padding, the Jacques bergère, available both with fixed and swivel base, with swivel base is extremely comfortable and lends itself to the creation of spaces where relaxation is key. When combined with its ottoman and the Song coffee table that embraces the armchair with its organic shape, it becomes a functional table-top surface for a lamp or to display various kinds of objects. The extensive Jacques family also includes ottomans in various shapes and sizes, all distinguished by an elegant stitched motif and a square decorative button. The metal base with Bronze finish is a detail that lends refined decorative appeal to each piece in the Jacques collection.
Superblocks
minotti > Cabinet
Superblocks is the design by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 inspired by the rationalism of lines, shapes, proportions and materials typical of the Brazilian studio’s work. It is conceived as a true piece of architecture, with the storage element in wood or glossy lacquer, available in different finishes, resting on polished Brandy metal blades. A furnishing piece that is not only decorative, but also functional, designed to blend into different types of environments also thanks to configurations and accessories that adapt to multiple and specific functions. For example, in the living and dining versions it can accommodate a brushed marble element with a strong identity, designed for storing objects. Another interesting accessory is the refined black saddle-hide cutlery tray, ideal for dining areas. On the other hand, in the configuration designed for the night area, Superblocks presents an elegant jewellery drawer with a screened glass top. The extreme simplicity of its design is enhanced by the richness of its details, for a rigorous style that dialogues perfectly with all the shapes in the Minotti collection, from the more linear and clear-cut to the softer, most sinuous ones.
Horizonte Bed
minotti > Bed frame
Horizonte Bed is the natural evolution for the night area of the Horizonte modular seating system. Designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, it is characterised by the rigorous and light horizontal line that inspires the design of the entire system. In the design for the bed, the horizon line becomes the base raised from the ground on which the mattress and headboard sit. The base is made from a clever combination of materials: entirely in leather or fabric, or in an original mix of both to create an even more refined, tailored look. The seaming technique used on the all-leather base is inspired by the world of haute couture and involves sewing strips of leather together and folding back the edges. In the all-fabric version, on the other hand, the two strips feature a distinctive central profile that highlights their seam. In the mixed version, the two strips are coupled with a zip, presented as an aesthetic motif that allows for the practical and quick removal of the covering. The hallmarks of Horizonte Bed also lie in its aerial architecture, achieved by means of recessed feet in polished Brandy varnished metal, as well as in the prominent rear panel that becomes the supporting element for the nightstand, available in different types of wood and either flush or cantilevered. The skilful combination of materials and exquisite tailoring gives rise to a wide range of versions: all-fabric, all-leather or countless variants featuring an interesting mix of the two materials applied to the base and the rear panel. Horizonte Bed expresses itself as a true system, tailor-made for the beauty and comfort of the night area and designed with a high level of adaptability to meet a variety of requirements.

It is capable of expressing multiple aesthetic and compositional languages, fitting with ease into environments with different uses. With its sophisticated wealth of subtle, but important details, such as the stitching and the curved silhouette of the backrest and armrest, Dylan Low stands out for its ability to make a discreet yet strong impact.
