Grand Prix™

The Grand Prix™ chair is an iconic Arne Jacobsen design with a graphic edge. It was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan, where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

The height-adjustable 3131 swivel chair features an elevated five-legged steel base with high-quality aluminium capped castors, originally designed by Jørgen Rasmussen in 1965 for the KEVI chair. The castor’s twin-wheeled design improves manoeuvrability, and customers have a choice of hard or soft wheels that glide smoothly on a range of surfaces without damaging the floor.

Made of eight 100% FSC-certified teak slats, the plate slots easily into the centre of the aluminium frame when the tabletop is slid open. Two extension plates can be stored on the frame underneath the tabletop when not in use.

The N02™ Recycle is a multi-use chair made from upcycled plastic household waste that can be recycled again. A crease in the chair’s back is inspired by a folded piece of paper on the designer’s studio table and provides extra support for the upper and lower back. Seven colour options are inspired by Scandinavian nature and, along with multiple base options, make N02 Recycle particularly applicable for work, meeting and dining arrangements. A sledge-base extends the graceful form of the four-legged N02 Recycle chair by forming a closed loop on each side of the chair. Multiple chairs can be linked securely together in straight rows.

Edge is a series of understated, hand-thrown terracotta pots in a range of sizes and finishes produced in Portugal using local clay. Inspired by ancient Greek amphora and traditional pottery techniques, the pots taper gently towards the base where they rest on a raised foot. Designed by the Danish ceramic duo Stilleben. Designed for indoor use, the Edge Pot in size Ø35 is an attractive piece to house larger plants on large windowsills or on the floor. It includes a small metal grid in the base that allows water to drain. The pot does not have a drainage hole.

The PK25™ was designed by Poul Kjærholm for his final graduation project at the School of Arts and Crafts in 1952. Also known as the ‘Element’ chair, the PK25 is a striking example of Kjærholm’s eagerness to transform common, industrial materials into striking works of art. Kjærholm was determined to reduce the chair to a single piece of each material, resulting in its overarching hallmark: the continual steel frame that bends through the form without interruption.
