Equatore is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic lamp with a glass shade. The Zenc’s design is inspired by the water tanks on New York rooftops. With this in mind, Gaspar has created a contemporary form reminiscent of industrial aesthetics.A shade 44 cm in diameter and 28 cm high surrounds the light source. On the outside its texture enriches the volume, and generates surprise… It seems to be made of metal, specifically zinc, a material traditionally linked to storage tanks, and like tanks, even the joints stick out. However, it is produced in rotomoulded bi-layer polyethylene. Its interior is covered in a white layer so that the light bounces, emanates and catches the eye. And that’s where the contrast is created: the outside is available in several colours – blue, grey, off-white, red, pale pink and pale yellow – while the inside is always white. A simple design reminiscent of a circular house, an archetype of essential shapes that also work in combination with each other, in different heights and colours, to offer multiple lighting possibilities. Walking around New York means looking up, wanting to discover where the skyscrapers end. On his last trip to this city, Joan Gaspar looked around the rooftops of New York and there, seeing the water tanks, he found the shape for this new design. A unique element that forms part of the city’s skyline. Water tanks have been a sign of New York’s identity since the beginning of the 19th century, and not only are they still there, but, surprisingly enough, they are also still installed, performing the same function.

Equatore is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic lamp with a glass shade. While the traditional abat-jour uses the shade to contain the light source within, in this family of lamps the shade is paradoxically and suggestively empty, with the light being generated by two luminous discs placed inside a central metal band, visible on the shade, that evokes the line of the equator. The light produced by the Leds, thanks to internal screens arranged in layers, is distributed regularly across the surface of the discs, magically illuminating them. The bottom disc directs the light output downward, the upper one illuminates the glass cap for a soft, diffused light. Available in table, floor and ceiling models, in two sizes and two colors: a cooler version in gray with a dark chrome frame, and a warmer version with a transparent dove gray cap and a copper-colored frame.

Taking inspiration from the minimalist movement, the Dan table combines Minotti's savoir-faire with Delcourt's attention to all the details of a project: from those evident to the eye, to those that can only be guessed. The starting point for Dan is the circle, which Delcourt breaks down in the manner of a figurative artist to investigate its expressive possibilities. The rounded and concave legs and the crosspiece that connects them define the base, enriching the overall design of the table. The contrasting finishes of the supporting legs - Licorice opaque-painted aluminium for the outside and bright Copper or Bronze-varnished for the inside - create an exciting game of lights, illuminating the area below the top, which is generally in the shade. The tone of the supporting structure is recalled in the perimeter band of the top with a subtle variation in the materials: the wood replaces the aluminium and frames a precious surface customisable in Calacatta marble, Black back-painted glass, Licorice flamed ash, matt ebony. Dan comes with a round top in three different diameters and with a rectangular top with soft corners, in three different dimensions.
