Palle is a stool designed by Yngve Ekström for Stolab during the 1950s. It was a time characterised by stylish shapes and functionality. The stool is made of solid birch and has four wooden legs that are screwed directly into the seat, which makes it stable and useful no matter where it is placed. Due to its soft shapes and generous seat, Palle works great as an extra seat at the table, as a bedside table or for standing on when you need to reach a high shelf.

Drop

An ingenious challenge against the force of gravity, the Drop, by Nendo, is a two-sided column bookshelf offered in 3 different heights. The Drop bookshelves are made of matte lacquered laser-cut sheet metal, available in a colour palette that includes white, mud and black; the sophisticated shorter version is also perfect as a bedside table.

Vao Bed

Vao Bed, the new upholstered bed has been added,with sinuous shapes and generous dimensions and in harmony with the mood of the collection. The bed has structure and legs in eco-sustainable solid ash while the upholstered headboard and bed frame are made with organic rubber and natural wadding. Even the bouclé wool upholstery has a natural and ecological soul. Vao Bed also exists in a more enveloping version equipped with two movable lateral “wings” that embrace the bedside tables. Brasilia Bed

The same Mid-Century Contemporary style that distinguishes the large, varied collection of Brasilia seats, also characterises the design of the night area, introducing a bed with a bold personality. Airy, and elevated from the ground, it sports a large wooden equipped headboard that embraces the padded part of the bed, the latter available in two heights. Its enveloping Dark Brown stained palisander Santos or in open-pore oak with a Honey stained veneer structure is characterised by its staved headboard and ends in two bedside tables/occasional tables, one at each side. These are available in two versions, one with shelf and one with drawer; both are suspended and available in two sizes. The boxspring base, on which the mattress lies, is available with the fabric or leather covering, the same featured on the padded headboard, enhanced with stitching. The bed also comes in a more minimal version, without the wooden structure. Each size of the boxspring base, in a choice of five widths, can generate various configurations, based on the choice of equipped headboard and its accessories, drawer or shelf.

The Kelly bed is distinguished by the harmonious combination of various finishes. The apparent formal simplicity of Darren and its rational, accurate design conceal a piece that is far more complicated and intricately structured than meets the eye. The central element in Moka-coloured ash wood features a shelf closed in on three sides, lined with Malt-coloured satin finish aluminium strips, and stands on a base in the same finish. The glossy Clay-, Sand- and Corten-coloured painted doors are opened with a handle in metal to match the top of the unit, fashioned out of the strip used to finishes their top edge. Darren comes in a range of different sizes, with items for a variety of uses that make up a vast line, from dining room units to living room cabinets, from chests of drawers to bedside tables. With the luxurious finishes of its materials and the meticulous attention to detail of its processing techniques, Darren is a contemporary example of furniture made with superior quality craftsmanship

The Yang Bed is a young, contemporary divan bed that evokes the unique play of proportions that distinguishes the eponymous seating system. The inherent design strengths and aesthetic features of the Yang seating system are embedded in the bed’s DNA. The headboard features generous, soft padding and reflects the distinguishing motif of the “Offset” elements, and projects out on both sides to form a single, unified profile designed to also accommodate the Close bedside tables. The headrest is an elegant and functional accessory that can be added to the headboard for optimum reading support and comfort. The base of the bed includes the modern cm 17 -high base with pocket springs that, along with the “Comfort H25” mattress, promises an extremely restful night’s sleep. The bed rests on simple, but elegant Pewter color metal blades.

The wealth of materials used and a rigorous design are the elements that characterize 5050 a collection of bedroom furniture designed by Rodolfo Dordoni. Gloss or matt lacquered surfaces alternate with wooden tops and Eco Skin trays creating alternating color effects that please the eye and underscore the play of solids and voids of a geometric design that is never banal.
