Forms of glass and metal that collect, contain and diffuse light in space. Passing between opaline, coloured and transparent layers, emphasised by the refined curves and the magic of blown glass, the light is free to create surprising and fascinating effects, patterns and moods. Milton "Nightstand"

Formed by the juxtaposition of suspended geometric volumes and reduced heights, the Milton side tables are available in the circular, square, rectangular and trapezoidal versions. The geometries are softened by the rounded corners that recall the sinuous curves of the Alexander "Drop" seating system. Characterized by a more contemporary and decorative reinterpretation of the lines of the Seventies, they showcase a refined game of combinations of precious materials and organic geometries. The recessed plinth in Light Bronze-painted satin metal transforms the supporting structure in a seemingly floating element. Closed by a band in Moka-tainted brushed oak, the frame holds the top in Zebrino marble or Black pâte de verre. Despite the generous proportions of the tops, due to their reduced height, the tables are not invasive in the living space, but function as pleasantly decorative and functional island elements. The family is completed by squared items that feature drawers or a void space, which is enhanced by a sheet of satin-finished metal that covers the internal surface. The latter is also available in a revolving version.

The upholstered volumes are reduced in depth, making Dylan Small a perfect fit even in smaller domestic environments or in Hospitality spaces. The project expresses the perfect balance between the simplicity of the design and the wealth of refined details with a couture flavour, such as the sophisticated stitching and the sinuous curve that outlines the backrests and armrests. Dylan Small picks up the complex manufacturing technique used in the original Dylan suspended base, in which leather or fabric strips are sewn together with straps and marked out by stitching that adds rhythm to the seat cushioning. All the expert craftsmanship accrued in Minotti’s 75 years of heritage concentrated in a compact and versatile volume.

The instinct for the continuity of shapes, and lines, and for consistency of language and style typical of Minotti’s modus operandi, is embodied in the Dylan modular seating system. A multifaceted and versatile lexicon in which the rigour of forms is combined with their ability to accommodate. Refined and articulated volumes come together to bring to life a system expressed in three variants capable of meeting different areas of taste and as many ways of experiencing the domestic and Hospitality spaces. Dylan, in the version with a suspended base raised 13,5 cm from the ground by thin extruded aluminium blades in Bronze or Pewter colour, has a particularly airy and modern feel, matching a more contemporary style, at the same time shining a spotlight on its couturier details. A project that offers a perfect balance between design essentiality and density of details combining light aesthetics with high quality comfort. The Dylan Small version takes up the same aesthetic, but with a more compact depth, specifically designed to bring the same taste of high tailoring into smaller domestic environments or more calibrated Hospitality spaces. Heritage Cloud is the most versatile surface in the collection. Characterized by different streaks of grey, this graphic can be perfectly matched with both warm and cool colored materials. The soft, enveloping base of Heritage Brown is reminiscent of Spanish marble, distinguished by subtle and barely noticeable white veins. Heritage Emerald brings to mind the rolling hills of Ireland. Shades ranging from dark to light green with dashes of brown and white congregate on its surface. Heritage Aqua is a surprising surface that emerges from the encounter of contrasting shades of teal and white, embellished with sophisticated orange veins. Lastly, Heritage Flame bears witness to an encounter between delicate shades of brown and dashes of cream. The array of backgrounds is accompanied by three 6 mm thick colored-body porcelain stoneware decors that combine the different shapes and graphics of the slabs in the range, thus delineating an enchanting continuity of colors and veining within the space. The Picket decor juxtaposes the trapezoidal glossy Heritage Emerald and Heritage Cloud slabs to craft a refined composition with clean, contemporary lines. The Maze decor, composed of a range of small Heritage Emerald, Heritage Brown and Heritage Flame trapezoids, catches the eye with its harmonious concentric motifs. Finally, the Trinity decor features three sinuously arched, glossy finish strips in the Heritage Azure graphic.

TROPICO GRANDE

The "shape of light" is the central theme of this project by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, which began with the Equatore family of lamps, presented in 2017 and now expanded to include other finishes, and continues with the new Meridiano and Tropico. Forms of glass and metal that collect, contain and diffuse light in space. Passing between opaline, coloured and transparent layers, emphasised by the refined curves and the magic of blown glass, the light is free to create surprising and fascinating effects, patterns and moods. Tropico is a spherical cap of opaque opaline glass, flattened and fixed by a large mirrored metal boss. The family comprises wall/ceiling and table versions, both available in three different sizes.

FONTANELLA MEDIUM

Two materials: metal and glass, as in the historic tradition of FontanaArte. The metal acts as a base and contains the light source while the glass, the true protagonist of the project, is expertly worked by skilled craftsmen in a process of fusion between a portion of transparent glass and a satin one from which the light diffuses. Fontanella is formed by the union of two glasses: the internal tube is threaded, sandblasted and finally joined with the bubble-shaped blown glass. What makes the processing particularly refined is the manual joining of the two parts, which requires the skillful technique of a craftsman. Furthermore, the glass, which has always been the material par excellence of the FontanaArte product, is the most crystalline on the market. The use of light bulbs, dimmable and not dimmable, for the biggest energy saving, complete the contemporaneity of this FontanaArte piece.

The new Skol emerges from the educational environment, while maintaining the reassuring and evocative sensations that have guided Needs Studio’s creative thinking: the general aesthetic simplicity, given by the 25 mm round steel tube structure, contrasts with the refined details, such as the delicate support of the seat and backrest to the frame, supported by the classic rivet fastening, creating a play of lightness and sinuosity. The soft and welcoming yet robust shapes intersect in a play of full and empty spaces, in which absolute comfort and a distinctly retro style with contemporary influences win out.
