Linha Studio

The evolution of the dining table designed by the Brazilian architect in 2020, the Linha Studio desk is available in five sizes, from the suite or home office desk to larger sizes for the office. The sculptural frame draws a large bridged area with the top lying flush to the sides, and two drawers underneath, positioned on the left. Linha, which means line in Portuguese, responds to the challenge of designing a desk with a slender frame, a top only 16 mm thick and from 180 to 250 cm long. Visually speaking, it is extremely light and airy, the ultimate expression of the minimalism that pervades the designs of Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, which have always focused on finding proportions that convey a certain elegance. The entire frame is characterised by sides with a Golden Brown finish, while the top and front of the drawers are in Dark Brown stained palisander Santos, with a matt polyester lacquered finish, wood with an interesting texture that adds volumes of personality to the design. A cable hole compartment is located on the table top, which can house a storage tray in Golden Brown varnished metal, with internal partitions and a background in Dark Brown saddle-hide positioned near the drawers.

With the fluid line of its shapes and the equilibrium of its soft volumes, the Lawson seating system explores different types of chairs, offering innovative solutions that push out the traditional style boundaries, ranging from small lounge armchairs to the larger easy chair, and even sofas. The design features a look based on the juxtaposition of materials: on one side there is leather, which follows the curve of the enveloping backrest, in turn becoming an armrest and on the other side there is the fabric of the cushions, with its haute couture feel. The many different layouts of the system, with its interesting range of alternating depths, mean it is perfect for creating both small, intimate spaces, as well as arrangements featuring several elements, all fit to occupy larger spaces with grace. With its natural elegance, Lawson is ideal for residential interiors, but also reveals a strong vocation for the hospitality sector, thanks to its versatile modularity. Sofas and armchairs sit on metal feet with a chrome or polished Pewter finish, a jewel-detail that adds a touch of sophistication to the piece. The wide variety of elements in the Lawson family also includes an armchair with legs in Moka-coloured ash wood or covered in leather, a detail that also characterises the lounge armchair and dining chair. The different illuminant covers which can be chosen freely for top and bottom allow the light to be directed individually - symmetrically scattering upward and downward or shielded to one side. This way for example prestigious offices and apartments can be illuminated in a uniform formal language without having to do without differing qualities of light.The SML halogen range offers the wall luminare in three sizes S M and L. Wall reflectors and mirror adapters complement the program. It exploits its strengths anywhere an opening in the wall is possible but there is no desire or space for expressive lighting fixtures. The vertical anchoring flange can be installed facing upwards or downwards on the wall, as necessary. JOUNTEC GALP joints functions The sliding components of the profile allow horizontal movement and vertical pivoting, while eliminating the accumulation of dirt and dust. The structural bays defined by this profile should be further subdivided with smaller scale movement / expansion joints, chosen according to the expected use and flooring type. How to install structural joints INSTALLATION: • Assemble the profile by sliding the two horizontal elements into the lateral flanges. • Carefully align the expansion joint. • Anchor the side flanges in the substrate with appropriate screws, 30cm on center, on both sides of the profile. • Lay mortar bed over the side flanges, and install the tiles as normal.

The aim is to create a minimum distance from the wall so that the flooring, once laid, is able to absorb expansion and not create tension in the structure. How to position the clip Always position the clip with the two side hooks upwards. The central slot in the SUPACLPP clip allows interlocking between the tie-bases on the head of the pedestal. The SUPACLPP clip allows you to distance the installation from the wall, absorbing expansion and protecting the tile from possible tensions or breakages.
