Luggage
minotti > Bed frame
Light lines and the most sophisticat-ed technology interplay in this design enhanced by the use of a timeless, appealing material like saddle-hide, for added value that goes beyond time and fashion. The Luggage chaise-longue is an impeccable marriage of comfort and elegance. A product of nature, skillfully shaped by human knowledge into soft shapes and tamed to become the fabric of objects meant to last.
Torii
minotti > Sofa
Airy, with constructive details linked to Japanese tradition, the Torii modular seats play with round edged volumes, thin profiles and the apparent formal simplicity of an extremely detailed design. The metal structure of the legs of the seats and tables is Nendo’s nod to the image of the “torii”, the entrance gate to Shinto shrines in Japan. With an interlocking game, the horizontal elements are laid on the vertical supports, ensuring a sophisticated visual lightness that accommodates the padded volume, characterised by couture craftsmanship. The Torii family includes sofas - with high or low backrest and a linear shape, rounded at the arms - inclined sofas with a combination of two different depths, armchairs and lounge and dining little armchairs, ottomans, coffee tables, and a slender, oval-shaped console table, ideal for placing anywhere in the living area. The varied range of products makes it possible to design a flexible layout, in which the individual elements can also be combined to create a strong visual unity. The metal frame found in the components of the Torii family evokes the image of the “Senbon Torii, the wooden colonnade that forms a gallery made up of 1,000 vermilion torii gates”, as Nendo reminds us. The slim backrest features vertical quilting and a piping running along the perimeter of the cushioning, underlining the couture quality of the craftsmanship. The eco-leather and eco-nubuck piping is in a slightly contrasting colour, but in the same shade as the fabric, if combined with a textile covering, whereas the leather versions come in the same shade when combined with leather upholstery. All the upholstered elements of the system can be customised by choosing the covering: 100% fabric or leather, or in fabric with a leather base. The seats can be accessorised with leather magazine caddy, crafted with fine luggage-crafting techniques and enriched with the same metal details as the base. The end of the horizontal metal element of the legs is designed so that it almost holds the backrest and seat, recalling the Kigumi technique, borrowed from the Japanese tradition of wood construction. A small decorative disk with Black-Nickel finish, in the form of a jewel-like button located at the end, adds a precious detail to the ensemble, and creates a series of contrasts with the Bronze colour varnished metal finish of the legs. The armchairs and swivel armchairs in the form of a perfect circle were designed to meet a variety of requirements, both in terms of functionality and ergonomics, available in a range of different types. The seats - in the Bergère, Large, Medium and Small versions - and the Dining, Dining Large and Lounge little armchairs are the result of the in-depth research carried out to find the best way to express the sophisticated simplicity of the craftsmanship. The base is available in leather or fabric. The extension of the base of some elements features a top in Calacatta or Stone Grey marble with a matt polyester lacquer finish, crafted with a careful study of its proportions, thickness and structural details so that it blends seamlessly into the seat, also from an aesthetic point of view. The Small armchair is also available in the Torii Nest version with braided leather backrest and a pattern inspired by Vienna straw, inserted in a solid ash wood frame that sits on a base in the same material. The Torii coffee tables also feature the same structural style details as the seats, reflected in the metal frame with Bronze colour varnished finish and details in Black-Nickel metal. Available in different sizes, ranging up to an impressive diameter of 120 cm, and different heights, they feature a top in Calacatta or Stone Grey marble with matt polyester finish, in Black pâte de verre or in Liquorice colour brushed ash wood, enclosed by a Liquorice colour matt lacquered frame.
Roger
minotti > Sofa
As a site-specific installation, tailor-made on each occasion to suit its hosting venue based on the specific requests of its commissioning agent, the Roger seating system is the result of an open design, created to be composed with imagination and personalised with style. Exceptionally versatile, it is designed to meet the full range of requirements in terms of layout and use. Its eclectic character makes it capable of intercepting a variety of taste categories and it boasts an extensive range offering endless design solutions. Roger is designed by Rodolfo Dordoni and was developed in collaboration with Minotti, whose imprint is visible in its soft volumes, sophisticated upholstery and sartorial craftsmanship. The system is comprised of three types of elements: Roger Suite, with cushioned seat and a depth of 101 cm; Roger Spring, a monobloc seat of the same depth, with an internal insert in pocket springs that ensure shape retention of the seat, fully quilted on the surface; finally, Roger Spring Sofà, the armless version with a depth of just 94 cm. The elements can be freely customised with high and low backrests, different types of armrests and the option of adding elements functioning as tops and containers, jutting out at the back, or at the end, next to the seat. A system, or rather a super system, capable of creating countless interpretations and configurations, for both residential and hospitality spaces. Roger features a customised base in profiled aluminium with a Black Coffee-coloured varnished finish, which supports the padded elements and the Case volumes in Dark Brown stained palisander Santos, in open-pore Black lacquered ash veneer or with a lacquered finish in the colours Ice, Cappuccino or Moka, and a front or side open storage compartment, lined with Brandy-coloured satin-finish aluminium. Two cross blades in Black Coffee-coloured varnished aluminium make the join almost invisible and elevate it 13 cm above the floor, giving the seats an airy aesthetic. The couture-like skills used in the crafting process are expressed in the graphic quilting effect, sporting long horizontal lines that run along the backrests, the seating elements and the matching benches, endowing the surfaces with a super soft, luxurious feel. In addition to special back-to-back pieces, characterised by a single trapezoidal backrest, and chaise-longues with and without the Case element, the family includes many benches of different sizes, also available with or without the Case element.
Andersen Line "Quilt"
minotti > Sofa
The unique seat cushion, enhanced with a lightly quilted motif, lends the Andersen Line "Quilt" a deliberately more classic flavor, and a passport to inclusion in traditional settings, alongside all the complementary pieces from the Minotti collection. To foster good posture during reading and relaxing, the Andersen Line "Quilt" elements can be outfitted with a practical headrest.
Gladstone
minotti > Coffee table
The Gladstone coffee table is the harmonious and refined embodiment of the entire 2022 Collection, characterised by a precise stylistic identity that combines a Scandinavian soul with Japanese aesthetics. Its base recalls the organic forms of Nordic design with clear inspiration from the 1970s: four solid cylindrical legs support an oval top which, thanks to its flared detail, appears thin and light, creating a pleasant contrast between the consistency of the marble material and the visual lightness of the coffee table. Made of marble, it declares its aesthetic power thanks to a special treatment that makes it opaque and silky, except the marbles Nero Marquina and Calacatta, which are polished. The choice of marble available is the result of careful chromatic and stylistic research that makes this family of tables easy to combine with the other furnishing pieces in the Minotti range: Nero Marquina, Calacatta, Verde Alpi and Rosso Levanto.
Rivera
minotti > Sofa
The Rivera collection suggests a contemporary interpretation of retro elegance reminiscent of a typically Mediterranean vibe. This project is driven by a desire to experiment with contrasts and unique combinations of materials for the outdoors - lightweight stainless steel, the reassuring warmth of wood, sophisticated weaves and the amazing elegance of fabrics - all contribute to transform even outdoor spaces into intimate and cozy settings. A slender handcrafted base in solid iroko heartwood supports an enveloping backrest in woven polypropylene fiber, available in Light Grey and Dark Brown colors. The “cannage” effect weave requires great skill and manual ability as well as tireless, patient workmanship. The Rivera collection includes a two-seat sofa and a three-seat sofa, armchairs, ottoman, coffee table and chair that define retro elegance in contemporary language, using innovative materials to evoke sensations reminiscent of warm, typically Mediterranean settings, whether on a lakeside veranda or terrace overlooking the sea. A premium wood, solid iroko heartwood – universally appreciated for its durability and waterproof qualities – adds great value to the base of the painstakingly hand-finished Rivera seating elements. The unique shape of the cantilevered wood frame that is distinctive to the 98 cm-deep armchair, as well as the two-seat sofa and three-seat sofa, allows it to be used as a table surface for glasses or other small objects. The 84 cm-deep Rivera armchairs - perfect for pairing with the two-seat sofa - have restrained proportions and can also be used in projects where space is at a premium. Designed to fit seamlessly with the various seating elements, the coffee table comes with the top in fine grain, brushed, Silver Beola stone, set into the wood frame, for an extremely refined effect and timeless elegance. The Rivera chair, with its compact design and graceful lines, epitomizes all the aesthetic values of the project and the ideal combination of materials. It rests on a sinuous Pewter color painted tubular stainless steel structure specially treated for outdoor use, as are the padding materials for the soft cushions that are covered in water-proof fiber.
Daiki
minotti > Armchair
Designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, Daiki is a family of seats inspired by the Brazilian architect's passion for Japan and its culture. The range includes comfortable bergères, fixed and swivel armchairs, with or without armrests, and a fixed footstool. Available with a matt polyester lacquered Palisander Santos shell, in the same Dark Brown stained wood or in Licorice lacquered flamed ash, the seat is made using an exclusive woodworking technique and consists of two elements joined at 45° to obtain a backrest inclination that guarantees maximum comfort. The fixed armchairs feature metal legs in a black-nickel finish, while the swivel seats are supported by a metal base with spokes, swivelling 360° with return, on which a comfortable cushion seats, contained in the curved wooden body. The base of the latter is also available in two different finishes: varnished polished Bronze to match the Palisander Santos frame with matt polyester lacquered finish or Dark Brown stain, or varnished Black Coffee finish for the ash frame. In the version with leather upholstery, the cushions are quilted with visible stitching, while the fabric version only features stitching. Daiki proposes a design that refers to the moods of Mid-Century America in its bold, simple lines, fine materials and balanced proportions.
Twiggy
minotti > Sofa
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, Twiggy is the family of seats that stands out for its ability to revolutionise living spaces with an unprecedented ideal of timeless beauty. Twiggy presents itself with different elements, always distinguished by Minotti's sophisticated sartorial taste. The family originated as a single armchair in the Small, Large and Deep versions, with and without armrests, but embellished with stitching that reveals the depth of the brand's manufacturing know-how combined with its great ability to make even the most sculptural seats extremely comfortable. In addition to the armchair, the range includes benches, couches, a chaise-longue and a dormeuse, which can be used as elegant individual elements to be freely inserted into the living room, creating a modular system that can be modelled as desired with the greatest of ease. A new aggregative language is born: free from schemes and preconfigurations, capable of adapting to needs in continuous evolution. The Twiggy seating elements have rigorous geometric shapes but are extremely comfortable and enveloping, covered in leather, nubuck or fabric and embellished with refined stitching. The curved, dynamic design of the base, made of brushed semi-polished aluminium or aluminium with a Black Coffee colour polished varnish, is one of the details that contribute to making these seats unique and destined to redefine the concept of style.
Fynn "Stool"
minotti > Stool
Scandinavian values meet Italian tradition in Fynn, a project created by combining fine cabinet-making in the wooden elements and sophisticated upholstering with fabric or saddle-hide.
Patio Teak
minotti > Sofa
The outdoor seating system designed by Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi is a compositional mosaic. The juxtaposition of the individual elements creates a style that is decisive and strongly characteristic, yet delicate and light thanks to its suspended, aerial feet. In the new teak version, an evolution of the family originally in aluminium, the warmth of wood combines with careful technological research in the wooden supporting structure: a slender but solid platform made of a wood that is smooth to the touch and resistant to atmospheric agents, supported by elegant Bronze-coloured aluminium feet, this is Patio Teak. The wooden frame, chosen to create a more natural aesthetic that is easier to combine with other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection, thus joins the version with aluminium base, borrowing the structure of its backrest in Ecru polypropylene rope. Some of the seating elements of Patio Teak feature a handy tray in natural teak, with grooves for draining water. The introduction of the Patio version in wood enriches and multiplies the transversal nature of the system, which can thus be adapted to multiple environments and contexts, meeting all aesthetic and formal requirements. The design makes it possible to create conversation, relaxation and vis-à-vis areas for every taste, interspersing seating with coffee tables and adding ottomans and benches. A solution capable of meeting the requirements of both small metropolitan terraces, and extensive outdoor spaces. All the elements feature feet and backrest joints in die-cast aluminium with an anti-touch Bronze colour finish, perfect for adapting to both the wooden and aluminium bases. The backrest remains the common thread of the collection: a vertical boundary that wraps around the piece without acting as a barrier, closing the design but offering a glimpse of beyond, and drawing the horizon thanks to its iconic weave.
Tatlin-Cover
minotti > Bed frame
Linearity and well-balanced proportions characterizes the Tatlin-Cover bed that perpetuates the Tatlin project’s purity of design, but offers a new version of the headboard entirely upholstered in fabric or leather. The headboard gains a welcoming softness, thanks to the padding in non-allergenic fibers, lending it a cushioned feel and comfortable support. The bed frame is supported by pressed aluminum feet painted the characteristic Pewter color. Thanks to its neutral but sophisticated personality, Tatlin-Cover easily fits in minimal-style settings and in more richly-decorated spaces.
Lido
minotti > Armchair
The welcoming nest shape of the Lido family of seats by Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi is the hallmark of its design. The curved silhouette that outlines the body on which the padding of the seat sits now also comes in a two-seater sofa version: a compact furnishing piece, ideal for both home and Hospitality spaces. The design, inspired by the 1950s, recalls the typical stylistic marks of Brutalist architectures, here softened by the masterful use of textured fabrics and comfortable, ergonomic cushions. The volume of the sofa is raised from the ground by four solid wood legs, in Moka-coloured open-pore ash or Canaletto walnut with a Dark Brown stained veneer. Alternatively, it can rest on the iconic X-shaped aluminium base with Moka-coloured open-pore ash finish, imbuing this object with timeless beauty and making it easy to pair with the other furnishing pieces in the collection. The base and legs are enhanced by an interesting decorative insert in Bronze-coloured varnished steel at the top of the legs. The two-seater sofa completes the Lido family, which includes armchairs, ottomans, lounge armchair and dining little armchair - only with legs in solid wood - and coffee tables that sit on the iconic X-shaped base, with round or square top in Bianconero marble or ash wood with a Moka open-pore lacquered finish.
Connery
minotti > Sofa
Contemporary, with a strong architectural appeal and pure lines reminiscent of the Mid-Century American spirit, the Connery seating system sports an exquisite aesthetic and design that instantly catch the eye. The clever combination of fine materials and sophisticated details adds a hint of couture to its design. An extremely versatile seating system, in terms of both composition and combination of materials, Connery has a distinctive personality also expressed in the pairing of original square and round chaise-longues. With its geometric rigour, the base creates an original contrast with the softness of the seat, conceived as a single cushion punctuated by light stitching defining the width of the seat - 83 or 68 cm - and with the structure of the backrest and armrest, covered in channelled goose down padding. The backrest and armrest form a single volume, with a 45° split in the corner. As well as the fabric covering, the padded structural base can also feature a covering with strips of leather, crafted with the same technique used in fine leather luggage-crafting. References to the concept of high-end leather goods are also found in the headrests and the elegant “C”-shaped Flap surfaces, which seamlessly blend into the seating elements, animating the compositions with a vibrant rhythm. The structural base is raised from the ground on thin blades in extruded aluminium in a Brandy polished varnished finish, positioned at the front, giving the sofa an appealing and airy look, and recalling the metal parts of trunks and suitcases. The Flap shelves reiterate the strip design of the structural base and make the system functional, offering stylish, surfaces on which to place objects. Covered in leather or Moka ash veneer, they dialogue harmoniously with the textures of the covering. The leather bands of the structural base, sewn together with straps and marked out by stitching that add rhythm to the design, are made with the same technique used in fine leather luggage-crafting. The same concept of high-end leather goods also inspires the freely adjustable headrests. The well-structured, customisable range, offering many different compositional options, in addition to longer square chaise-longues, also includes circular elements, which can be positioned near the sofa as atolls.
Lou "Dining"
minotti > Table
Powerfully expressive, this family of tables and coffee tables draws inspiration from the fluid, organic shapes of tree trunks, true sculptures produced by nature. A masterful technique of high-end cabinetry made the creation of extremely complex curves and veneers possible. The contoured internal structure is in MDF, sheathed in larch veneered plywood which is then milled along the curved edges. The larch base in Licorice lacquer can be paired with a top in open-pore stained flamed ash in Licorice color. The underside has a matt finish in the same color as the top, in Smoked Glass laminated to extra-clear or Amber color glass. The 150 cm diameter top is only available in Calacatta marble. The Lou table comes in both rectangular and round versions, in various sizes.
