Esparto Ibérico
arte-international > Wallcovering
Esparto is a strong fibre made from two species of perennial grasses of North Africa, Spain and Portugal. In woven form it is used for all kinds of crafts, to create both decorative and utilitarian objects. In this instance, it inspired a design in which the rounded shapes contrast beautifully with the randomly arranged pattern.
Rattan
arte-international > Wallcovering
This hand-woven material creates a timeless, warm look. Thanks to the shading of the natural fibres, a nuanced shadow play of light and dark is created. This effect is enhanced by a background in cream or black.
Pandan
arte-international > Wallcovering
The tiled wickerwork is inspired by the pandan, a tropical plant. The fibres of this plant are cut into strips and woven diagonally. The clean, diagonal lines appear less abstract thanks to the natural look and feel.
Marsh
arte-international > Wallcovering
Walls of woven grass. It’s almost as if you’re spending a night in a lodge out on the savanna. The structure has been realistically recreated, which lets you subtly bring a truly exotic feeling into your home. You’re sure to find a suitable tint for any interior from among the seventeen colour variations.
Facet
arte-international > Wallcovering
A surprising pattern with irregular polygons which gives the illusion of relief and fits in perfectly with any interior.
Coccinella Bella
arte-international > Wallcovering
The design is inspired by the unique flowers and plants that were deeply loved by the extinct Rationalis Decoris Coccinellidaeis. More commonly known as ‘Coccinella Bella’. These now-extinct lady bugs only emerged from their hidden habitats during the full moon, when their favourite stripy leaves and poppy-like flowers were bathed in a silver glow. Coccinella Bellas were the epitome of beauty, with their vibrant colours and intricate patterns. While they all sported the same colours, their patterns were as unique as the stars in the night sky. The Coccinella Bella wallcovering is digitally printed on soft touch textile.
Ghicha Silk
arte-international > Wallcovering
This design is made from hand-woven silk, which is mainly sourced from silkworms that live in the wild in India. The irregular variations and ‘flaws’ of labour-intensive, hand-spun silk are part of the unique charm of this stunning natural product.
Saranda
arte-international > Wallcovering
In this design, you will discover hills and trees under a soft cloudy sky. Drawn in a typical Asian style, it was named after the Saranda forest in India. A highly appropriate name, as Saranda literally means ‘seven hundred hills’.
All'Ombra dei Cipressi
arte-international > Wallcovering
This decor illustrates a Tuscan landscape with rounded shapes. The velvety chenille finish completes the picture.
Pogo Goat Wallcovering
moooi > Wallcovering
The Pogo Goat Wallcovering is a 3D wall covering with a soft chenille fabric inspired by the Goats yearly migration. The intricate pattern has us guessing how ambitious the choreography of the dancing Pogo Goats really was.
Stucco
arte-international > Wallcovering
Stucco makes a playful reference to the decorative plaster used during Greco-Roman antiquity. It is an abstraction of textile and the tone-on-tone colour palette ensures a serene but weathered look.
Moxie
arte-international > Wallcovering
A design inspired by classic, wrought-iron collapsible lift doors. You can still see them occasionally in hotels in the heart of Paris.
