The seat shells are crafted from dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, which is 100% recyclable, and starting January 2024, Vitra has transitioned to using post-consumer recycled plastic from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' collection, reducing environmental impact. The chairs come in multiple configurations—visitor, dining, rocking, swivel, or stacking versions—with options for seat cushions or full upholstery, offering a wide range of color and base combinations. Additionally, a 3D file of the product is available for download, allowing for detailed visualization and planning. Marked by hand-painted white drawer fronts with applied handles in various wood kinds (elm Italian walnut mahogany and rosewood). Chest of drawers designed in several versions in the period from 1952 to 1955. The new version was produced using original drawings kept in the Gio Ponti Archives and the art direction for the Gio Ponti Collection came from Studio Cerri & Associati.The elmwood frame rests on satin brass feet.
