Georg is a collection of functional furniture and accessories made from a warm mix of Nordic sensuality and Japanese minimalism. Designed in collaboration with Nordic designer, Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm. Whether as a stand-alone piece or an addition to a table, the Georg Bench adds a warm atmosphere in practical form. The natural oak bench comes with a choice of unbleached linen cushion and braided linen strap or a dark grey woollen cushion with black leather strap. The black coloured oak bench comes with a soft woollen cushion in light grey with leather strap.

Designed in collaboration with contemporary Swedish designer, Anton Björsing, the minimalistic collection is easy to mix with other furniture. Hven Bench is made from solid oak with a beautiful grain pattern and superb durability. A minimalistic design, characterised by its round legs and corners, the bench sits easily with other furniture.

Handmade in collaboration with a local workshop for the blind and sight impaired, the designs marry form with function. Designed by the Danish/Swedish furniture designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm Set on a slender, painted steel frame, the seat of the minimalist, two-seater Vent Bench is woven by hand from paper cord. Comfortable to sit on and beautiful to look at, it elevates surroundings whether in a public setting or home space.

Its unique shape is timeless and incredibly versatile, displaying character without overpowering the eye. The chair is made from 9 layers of pressure moulded veneer for strength, flexibility and durability despite its slender form. This is the most popular design within Fritz Hansen’s chair collection. The 3107 has slim yet strong steel-tubed legs that complement the shell’s curved profile. Legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, allowing chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage. The base/legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design.

The Ant™ chair’s visual expression is delicate and artful, much like the curves of a musical instrument. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the chair is made from nine layers of pressure moulded veneer. Its elegant shape disguises its remarkable strength and comfort. The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

Grand Prix™

The Grand Prix™ chair is an iconic Arne Jacobsen design with a graphic edge. It was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan, where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

A crease in the chair’s back is inspired by a folded piece of paper on the designer’s studio table and provides extra support for the upper and lower back. Seven colour options are inspired by Scandinavian nature and, along with multiple base options, make N02 Recycle particularly applicable for work, meeting and dining arrangements. The four-legged N02 Recycle chair is elegantly simple and functional, as well as stackable and easy to arrange in rows. Gently curved, steel legs recall the single-shell chair designs of Arne Jacobsen and Vico Magistretti.

Armrests follow the backrest of the N02 Recycle and go on to form the rear legs of the chair, keeping the seat open and comfortable. N02 armrests are made from the same recycled polypropylene plastic as the shell and fixed to gently curved steel tubing.

Superquadra

Designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, the Superquadra furniture line takes its name from the pilot town planning design by Lúcio Costa with Oscar Niemeyer, conceived in 1956 for a residential neighbourhood of Brasilia and presented as a series of basic prefab houses. The square volumes of the famous buildings suspended on agile pilotis are revamped to characterise sideboards, benches, coffee tables, console table and tables of the Superquadra family. The architectural imprint that characterises the airy volumes of the Superquadra storage units, translates into the graphic minimalism of the Superquadra line of coffee tables, benches and console tables. The elements rest on a base with protruding legs, in aluminium with a polished Brandy varnished finish, giving the products an ultra-lightweight look. The discreet design is animated by a mix of fine quality materials - marble, wood, fabric and leather - used for the shelves and seats, and interpreted in a modern, textured style. With Superquadra, Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 reaffirms the identity of a style with its roots in the 1950s, sporting a mix of characteristics balanced between the past and the present. The benches, characterised by different densities of cushioning, are available in two heights (cm 34 and cm 42) and come in four versions: with all-fabric or leather covering (cm 126x128), with seat paired with a top in Dark Brown stained palisander Santos (cm 126x128), with seat set beside a top in Calacatta or Sahara Noir marble (cm 182x58) or with two tops, in solid wood and Calacatta marble or in wood and Sahara Noir marble (cm 182x102). The furnishing accessories are characterised by their bold textures, clearly visible in the versions that feature a distinctive top in a combination of marble and solid wood.
