Encouraged by the powerful Labics Structures that are well-known as an installation consisting of 50 architectural models realized by the studio Labics between 2014 and 2015. This Collection takes inspiration from the abstracted architectural installations of models, which were constructed from an abstract matrix. The Labics Collection allows to express yourself through the lighting aesthetics and decorate boldly. Dynamic lines create an organic movement of subtle brass tubes as straight as arrows, completing the handmade suspension with glass. Assembled over several brass tubes, they have a daring angularity that’s tempered by their masculine matt finish coupled with glass. As the encouragement came from the architecture of buildings, the iconic collection recreated graphic pattern’s ideas on the chandelier. The Collection's highlight? FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colours recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridiscently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering greater concentration of the light. The lamp is available in three different sizes: Fl/Y (diameter 52cm, shade depth 33cm), Small Fl/Y (diameter 38cm, shade depth 28cm) and Big Fl/Y (diameter 83cm, shade depth 55cm).
