Le Klint 235 Lamella

The Lamella Ceiling Lamp adds a pleasantly soft light to the room. The lamp can be used both as a ceiling and wall lamp. It looks beautiful in the ceiling above the dining table, by the stairs, on the living room wall, or by the bed. With its delicate layers, Lamella is inspired by the intricate structure on the underside of a mushroom cap, also called lamellae, harking back to classic origami folding, while the polished details in aluminum or golden metal provide a modern and sleek expression.

Andreas Hansen designed the ceiling lamp Model 32 back in 1964, and it is still part of our popular classic collection. Since 1963, Andreas has had his own design studio, and over time, he has drawn many of our lamps, including the models with the sharp zigzag folds, which at that time were a significant innovation in the collection.

This beautiful ceiling lamp saw the light of day in 1968 and was developed by the company's own team. It is part of the collection of ceiling fixtures, i.e., lamps for ceiling and wall mounting, and is available in two sizes with diameters of 45 or 55 cm. It comes with hang-up/fitting included.

Architect Poul Christiansen started his collaboration with Le Klint in the late 1960s and over the years, he has been one of the most productive designers for Le Klint. He has created many lamp designs for the company, including Model 172 Sinus, which has become an international classic.

An interpretation of the iconic pendant Model 107 marked our 75th anniversary in 2018. Model 107 was designed back in 1942 by Esben Klint, and the shade is a fundamental part of the table lamp Model 375. This shade is, of course, hand-folded and beautifully integrated into a base in light oak or smoked oak with brass details.

Despite clear references to Le Klint's classic design and craftsmanship, Swirl has its own unique identity. With its transparent design language and curved slats that distribute light, the lamp provides a subtle ambient light and is also an aesthetic delight in the space. The beautiful finish at the bottom of the lamp makes it particularly suitable for hanging high in a room. Swirl is designed to eliminate uncomfortable glare from the light source. This shade, like Model 1, is an important part of Le Klint's history. The shade was designed in 1945 by Tage Klint and is a clear successor to Model 1. In contrast to the Model 1 shade, this one is simpler and has no collar at the top. The side length is measured from the top of the shade and is included in the product designation as Model 2 - "side length", for example, 2-17, where the shade's side length measures 17 cm.

FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colours recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridiscently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering greater concentration of the light.
