Asa

Asa is built of an ingenious, single, continuous tube structure which also defines the upper, handle-shaped structure for carrying. It has two colour versions: white or, in its original 1961 version, with black structure and switch. Three visible elements, structure, shade and switch, make up a beautifully-proportioned ensemble.

Babel

Babel, whose name comes from the biblical story of the unfinished tower, is both a sturdy sculpture and a lamp apt for night-time intimacy. The use of alabaster, solid at the base and hollow for the shade, with no two units the same, made Babel a piece of art that began as a deliberate affront to the prevailing trends of the time.

Básica Mínima

Básica Mínima is the pocket edition of the Básica lamp. On its own or with others, it combines sturdiness and lightness. The shade and finish are available in two unique versions. The first features a bronze finish base and a pleated natural parchment lampshade. The second version has a nickel finish base and a ribbon-stitched lampshade. 

Básica Mínima Batería

Básica Mínima Batería is the portable version of Básica Mínima. Its cylindric structure, made of birch wood, holds two lampshade options: pleated natural parchment and ribbon stitched. With a light touch, the lamp turns on and off, making it a light and practical companion.

Cesta

On a stroll through Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá found an abandoned opal globe outside a glass factory. He took it home, and over the years, it became the heart of a large family. As its name suggests, Cesta (Spanish for “basket”) was designed to hold this fragile shade.

After decades of producing Miguel Milá’s iconic design from the sixties, we have now incorporated its outdoor version. With the same aesthetic characteristics as the original and with the same lighting efficiency, it comes with an aluminium structure, in black or olive green, and a polyethylene shade, two water-resistant materials suitable for outdoor use.

The smaller version of the Cesta lamp is defined by a smaller wooden structure, always carefully polished and strongly assembled, holding the small opal glass globe in which its light is wrapped. The Duo lamp was conceived by André Ricard for “executive desks”, not only that good focal light was required when going through extensive paperwork, but also the fact that, in the face of visitors, the view of those who sat in the confidants’ chairs should not be obstructed by a large or ostentatious lampshade. Duo fulfils both purposes seamlessly. It illuminates with proximity, and does not interrupt the visual horizon. The luminous flux is adjustable by the independent rotation of its glass shades, which can be opaque to focus the light on the work surface, or translucent to provide a more general illumination too.

Moragas

A sturdy wooden cylinder supports a head with three bulbs, surrounded by a generous circular shade. The shade is made from cotton ribbon and has a thread running along the edge, reminiscent of bookbinding, and forming an asymmetry that creates a splendid contrast of light and shadow.

Sin

A lamp that combines simplicity and technology to create a lucent ring of light suspended in the air. It comes in two sizes, both available in matte white or graphite, to which a shade can be affixed. Or they can be left without a shade, unapologetic. Ambrosia is essentially a line of light that can be converted into a modular system, capable of extending the illumination it offers to adapt to any space. A design that recovers and revisits the tube light, timeless, and updates it so that its simple structure and diffuse lighting add beauty to any space. This collection expands on its possibilities by proposing a change in the plane of light, from horizontal to vertical.This new style of lamp is available in two versions, both of which are pendant lamps. First there is the Ambrosia V, a 235-cm-high vertical structure consisting of two tubes of light of different lengths. An interrupted line of light, a detail that brings lightness and character to the lamp. Its design allows you to choose the lighting, either towards the wall for indirect light, or towards the main space for direct light. This aesthetic and functional design also works well in domestic settings. The other vertical version, Ambrosia V, joins three light tubes placed at different heights, forming a sculptural ensemble. This option can provide a great deal of light and therefore comes with a dimming system for easy lighting control. It is available in two heights of 130 and 175 cm. Funiculí

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities. It is no longer only available in the neutrals moss grey, black and off-white. The new colours – green, terracotta and mustard – are intense. They are design statements, highlighting the shapes of the Funiculí and bringing chromaticism to the space. The new shades are cheerful and vivid, conveying that colour can also be essential.
