A French term derived from silk with a rippled or “watered” appearance, moiré is an optical effect that results in the illusion of waves or the movement of water. This effect is achieved by having an opaque, ruled pattern overlaid over another. Designer Christian Lava’s studies of this effect have led to his latest design aptly titled, Moiré. Using overlapping grids of metal, this LED pendant light dynamically changes shape following the viewer’s gaze, practically coming to life with a vibrating energy. In Greek mythology, Gaia is the personification of the Earth and the mother of all life. Looking to capture the mythical and natural beauty of this Earth goddess, designer Jean-François Crochet has created the Gaia pendant light. Consisting of geometric frames of brass or raw metal reminiscent of the mountains Gaia created, the pendant uses led light to push light through the “cracks” formed. The resulting light creates a magical feeling, as if the lights peaking through were alive themselves. For his work for Terzani, Nigel Coates, well known for his unorthodox approach to design, has created an engaging, unique light. Customizable groups of hand made crystal "angels” are illuminated by halogen or led lamps. What caused these angels to fall from the heavens? It’s up to the viewers to decide. At Terzani, we spend countless days searching the globe for talented new designers, but sometimes they find us. Such is the case with the young designers Luca Martorano and Mattia Albicini (Draw studio) who approached us with the design for Calle, a fantastic new light we instantly fell in love with. It howcases our skill at crafting crystal to take the material to an exciting, modern place. Luca and Mattia worked with our raftsmen to create a slender inverted flute of crystal that, like the calla lily it mimics, can be grouped into stunning bouquets of light. Design Draw. Volée is a Led luminaire of the latest generation, in which the formal research is combined with technological innovation. Featured by an essential design, Volée switches on with an almost tennis-style gesture: a simple wave of the hand under the head of this lamp activates an electronic device that switches the light on or off without any contact. A touch sensor over the head allows the flow of light to be regulated to four different levels of intensity (40%, 60%, 100%, 0%). A Time Out system automatically switches the lamp off after it has been on for 5 hours. The tension for the hidden-spring balancing mechanisms is provided by steel wires that allow to orientate the light emission with a fluid movement. Volée is suitable for every kind of environment, both modern and traditional.

The Lumiere 30th is an elegant table lamp crafted from liquid-coated aluminum and blown glass, available in two versions: a small model (H 35 cm) with a 6.5W LED retrofit and a larger model (H 45 cm) with a 12W LED retrofit, both offering warm 2700K light with high color rendering (CRI>80). The lamp is offered in non-dimmable and dimmable versions, with an IP 20 rating, and features a glossy white finish enhanced by two historic glassblowing techniques, giving the glass a three-dimensional texture for a modern yet timeless aesthetic. First introduced in 1990, the Lumiere 30th celebrates its 30th anniversary with a refined design that combines classic elegance and contemporary character. A 3D file of the product is available for download, allowing for detailed visualization and integration into design projects.
