An extensible dining table, boat-shaped, rectangular, organic or oval, made of natural stone or wood with lifting mechanism for an integrated center-leaf made of natural stone or wood. The integrated lifting mechanism allows the interior central leaf to be raised once the two halves of the table top have been pulled apart. An ingenious technique makes the extension a procedure of miraculous ease. An extensible, rectangular dining table made of natural stone wood that convinces by its modern strictness. Thanks to the extension mechanism the symmetry with the substructure is always maintained in the extended as well as the closed position. With a new technique the extension leaf can be rotated by another 90°. Thus it is now positioned lengthwise under the center leaf and is no longer visible from the side. This model is offered with 3 different bases.

The form of the TRILOPE table top bases on the „Reuleaux-triangle“ (also known as „spherical triangle “ or „Reuleaux rotor“). The top view was rounded and honed in accordance with the rules of geometric art, so that the smooth appearance of the top invites to linger at the table. The top resembles the one of a round table, but with innovative optics and more presence and sophistication. The base consists of three distinctly profiled legs of solid wood which are connected tangentially. Therefore, they unite a fascinating look with highest stability. The base and the top come together in perfect aesthetic union and, viewed from every angle, have the effect of a laconic and intriguing sculpture.

The model Trilope has inspired the designer Mezger to LOPE. VICTOR – an archaic-looking sculpture of a table, coarse – soft, brute – delicate, demanding and giving… These are no contradictions, but united in a unique table design. The earthy top of solid wood gives the table a rustic and natural appearance. The industrial-design frame in the form of double t-beams is connected with a rectangular base plate. These features provide immediately an impressive statement. The visible, robust screwing in combination with the black steel look of the surfaces of t-beams and ground plate give this model the finishing touch.

Our STAN table demonstratesa distinctive sense of form and surprises with its lightness. Its oak top is available in lengths between 200 and 280 cm. Das Faszinierende an der Idee KENT ist, zuerst spannende asymmetrische Formen zu kreieren, um dann durch gezielt überlegte Anordnungen wiederum ein harmonisches Gleichgewicht zu erzeugen.Die Steinausführungen erscheinen durch die Asymmetrie der Tischplatten fast noch edler und vermitteln durch ihre Maserung und Farbigkeit ein beeindruckendes ästhetisches Erlebnis. Das Tischkonzept öffnet sich, weg von der routinemäßigen Alltäglich-keit von Symmetrie, hin zu neuen inspirierenden und kommuni-kativen Situationen. Zusammen mit dem Unterbau - bestehend aus zwei Halbschalen aus Aluminiumguss - entsteht mit jeder Tischplattenform eine skulpturale Gesamtanmutung, die den KENT sehr leicht und filigran wirken lässt.

Der Lift IV ist eine technisch anspruchsvolle Neuinterpretation des Klassikers 1010 mit LIFT-Funktion. Durch leichtes Drehen der Tischplatte wird eine Sperre gelöst und ermöglicht so eine stufenlose Verstellung der Tischhöhe. Für die Tischplatte stehen unterschiedliche sekurisierte Gläser zur Verfügung: Klarglas, Weissglas lackiert und satiniertes Weissglas. Standrohr in Hochglanz- Chrom oder Matt-Chrom.

The Lift IV is a technically sophisticated redefinition of the classic 1010 table with LIFT function. By turning the table top slightly, the locking will be released and allows a stepless height adjustment of the table top. The center column is available in polished chrome or matt-chrome.

Leaf

Solid Steel

The Solid Steel family of coffee tables is characterised by its clear 1970s inspiration: glossy and mirrored finishes, rigorous, overlapping and staggered volumes recreate a strong yet minimal architectural geometry, which perfectly complements different styles of living areas. The Solid Steel coffee tables are parallelepipeds with one or two staggered levels; in the two-volume version the finishes of the higher top are glossy lacquered Moka, Cappuccino, Malachite, Chestnut, or Moka open-pore lacquered ash, while the lower volume has the polished stainless steel frame with mirrored top. In the monobloc version, however, the frame is again in polished stainless steel or polished Bronze with four possible finishes for the top: Arabescato Grigio marble, Nero Marquina marble, open-pore Moka colour lacquered ash or mirror. The colour palette is consistent with the imagery of the living space by which they were inspired: mirrored stainless steel combined with coloured lacquers, wood and marble finished with a special smoothing treatment that enhances its matt texture, in stark contrast to the shine of the mirrored steel frame. These details are typical of the style of a brand that knows how to translate simplicity into sophistication, transforming a furnishing accessory into a strong and recognisable feature. The minimalism of their shape makes these coffee tables architectural objects with a big personality, incisive in the overall aesthetics of the space and yet easy to insert into many contexts: in the area in front of the sofa, but also at the side of the living room, as a support element, the ideal finishing touch to any environment. The “Achter”-Model consists of individual  glass  plates for each place setting. The pedestal of the 1318-series is made of  MDF veneered and lacquered in black; the metal parts are in polished chrome. The company founder, Dr. Peter Draenert, has designed, beside this table series, numerous products of the DRAENERT collection, many of them are still relevant today. Each piece of furniture should have a distinctive personal signature - an extraordinary DRAENERT line.The visionary and designer originally studied philosophy, history of art, German studies, and psychology – certainly very important features of his creative  process.This table series is in accordance with the philosophical, psychological and sociological idea of modern narcissism of the individual in the lifestyle bath of the masses.People fend for themselves. They are self-sufficient, look for themselves and their needs, especially during a formal meal. It is, therefore, symbolic to separate the large table, shared by all, into individual areas and still further into individual functional areas. A traditional, general procedure has been de-familiarized and stylised to a new order.

HYDRO Chair

HYDRO is a limited-edition chair created in collaboration with HYDRO, the biggest aluminium producer in the world. The HYDRO chair is an innovation in aluminium technology. It has been blow-formed (through a process called Superplastic Forming) at high temperatures and then laser cut by robots. These methods were developed in the automotive industries to make deep and complex forms that were impossible to achieve a few years ago. The ballooned pattern gives strength and rigidity and lends a soft and humorous pop sensibility to the lightweight and shiny metal sheet.Each chair is marked with a limited edition number and comes with a certificate signed by Tom Dixon. The forgotten wall. «A wall is like a book to be opened, a journey into the interior, revealing the experiences, memories, signs and symbols which this fragment of masonry has absorbed over the centuries.» Franco Guerzoni <p>It is difficult to resist the beauty of Franco Guerzoni's art, created by a rare harmony of feeling and intellect, poetry and mind. The artist expresses this through paintings which, although complex in structure, are joyous and sensual, with bright colours made, like those of the great masters of the past, from choice powdered ingredients. A painter with a technique rich in traditional skills, Guerzoni offers a version of modernity involving an intense fundamental relationship with his images and with space. In fact, the dialectic between painting and space, form and architecture, time and memory seems to be essential to his art. As his works specifically created for CEDIT clearly express, his creations achieve a perfect balance between the spatial dimension and intensely lyrical use of colour, which here becomes a soft, liquid form of matter, wandering across the surface of a dazzling lime-plaster white. White, metaphor for the clear light of day, as it was in the large, complex canvases exhibited in his personal exhibition at the 1990 Venice Biennale, is the background for forms of colour which renew the pleasure to be had from painting and the memory of an image glimpsed on the vast expanse of the surface. In the more recent works, these voluptuous shades are transformed into subtle shadows of colour that delicately caress the surface.</p> <p> </p> <p> All it takes is one wall, the only surviving wall of what was once a house, on which time has recorded its own, unavoidable passing, leaving traces of colour that is still vibrant, although faded in places, to allow the memory of the image to transpire, fragile and uncertain, in the physicality of the surface, to bear tangible witness to the existence of history, a mysterious visual memory, the extension into the present of the life of things. A memory of the past on a contemporary wall. The idea of memory is central to Franco Guerzoni's poetics: private, secret memory and the collective memory of the past. Fragmentary and indecipherable, perceived by the artist with the aid of what is left of the images, the fragment. A relic of a totality which can no longer be reconstructed but only imagined in poetic terms, the fragment, a fraction of an image conserved by time, guides the artist's fantastic archaeological journey in search of the world's memory. However, this journey takes him in the opposite direction to the archaeologist, for whom the fragment - fundamental because it reveals a trace of the past is the starting-point for an attempt to reconstruct history. For Guerzoni, the fragment is the endpoint of his work, the goal for which he strives in his investigation of the surface, as he digs deep down, leafing through the deposits of time and memory.</p> <p> </p> <p>Like the large pages of a book traced with fragile sketches, embryonic forms whose meaning has been lost in time, leaving only fleeting traces, uncertain, ambiguous, mysterious morphologies. It marks the start of a journey into the mind of the artist-archaeologist, an adventurous journey into the inextricable labyrinth of the mind, to unearth what is hidden, shuffling the cards in a perennial contamination of images, memory, signs and traces, in search of a meaning, which no sooner appears than it is lost, merging into time and once again becoming a dream, an imaginary journey into fantasy and wonder. And this is the case in the tryptic created for CEDIT, which placed a new challenge before the artist: to transfer "his" image, the remains and fragments of a forgotten wall onto a new material for him “stunning, large-sized ceramic slabs“ and a real wall, without this tautology betraying the painting's deep meaning, its fertile magic of lines and colours, from which the image is born. And the artist is fully aware of this. Guerzoni describes his art as a "gamble": a gamble that is a critical test, an act of daring, dangerous and risky. This is the challenge he sets himself. It is a challenge he easily overcomes, expressing himself on these large walls with a rediscovered pleasure in painting, no longer restrained and apparently absorbed by the dense, uneven coloured surface but set free and almost luxuriously accentuated. In his large, demanding works for CEDIT, Guerzoni achieves a new, consummate mode of painting, in which the architecture of the surfaces provides a poetic meeting-point between the two founding components of his style, the complex, well thought-out composition and the lyricism of colour.</p>
