SHAPES vases by Serax

In 2021, the studio was looking for a follow-up to the VOLUMES vases, but this time made from glass and solely made for flowers. With SHAPES, Studio Piet Boon created 3 elegant and serene vases, each made of completely mouth-blown glass. These objects have an aesthetic value, but also do not demand too much attention when filled with a bouquet of flowers. Japanese design and nature served as sources of inspiration.

KEKKE mirror

The with five millimeter strip steel framed KEKKE mirror owes its name to the characteristic Studio Piet Boon KEKKE shape.

VOLUMES vases by Serax

For this collection of five vases we played with the different thicknesses and heights that we always saw reappearing in commercial vases. By experimenting with them, volumes of different heights have been created at the top. These volumes have an important function: they keep the flowers in the right place. 

RAF armchair & loveseat

Bring the outside in. The RAF armchair & loveseat blur the boundaries between interior and exterior design. Easily recognized by their characteristic sculptural shape with welcoming cushioning, the armchair and loveseat are an invitation to take it slow. The hybrid materials have been selected to maintain their elegance both inside and outside, making it ideal for a wide variety of spaces.

KEKKE lounge chair

More comfort. More balance. The KEKKE lounge chair offers the perfect way to enjoy long, relaxed days and nights at home. The design is based on the existing KEKKE dining chair but is more expansive, which means it’s more comfortable, as well. The chair is lower to the ground and features a tilted seat upholstered in soft leather. A loose back cushion is included for extra comfort and style. The design can be paired with the KEKKE ottoman. Both models feature thicker, powder-coated steel frames.

The BOB armchair adds a contrasting piece of furniture to the understated and elegant collection of Piet Boon armchairs and loveseats. The design of the BOB allows the user to be fully embraced by its soft form. The relaxed, flowing silhouette is formed by a high back. The deep cushioned seat, made of highly resilient foam and a layer of polyester fibers, creates maximum comfort.

The bathtubs, developed in partnership with COCOON, are part of the Piet Boon by COCOON collection consisting of kitchen and bathroom taps, shower sets, washbasins, chests of drawers and an outdoor shower model. The mix of materials used to manufacture the products diverge from natural stone and solid surface to wood. For each product, you may choose a Piet Boon color palette, ranging from light to dark. In following of the BELLE dining chair, Studio Piet Boon designed another rounded low seater. JANE was named after two Michelin-star restaurant The Jane in Antwerp, as the studio initially designed the chair for the restaurant during the refit of its award-winning interior. Its cylinder shape, fluid lining and overlapping elements give JANE its accessible and distinct character. The sociable shape of the JANE invites for multidirectional seating, making it easy to combine JANE with other pieces of furniture.

Seemingly simple but extraordinarily well thought out and made of high-quality materials, the versatile ELEMENT kitchen fits every lifestyle. The renewed and modular ELEMENT kitchen concept is exhibited in our Piet Boon Kitchen & Dining Flagship Store in a setting of 25m2 and plays a central role in the space. The concept shows a cooking island completely made of Shitake Honed Caesarstone composite. The island is the heart of the kitchen and is very versatile. The kitchen island can be used as a bar but also is a comfortable place to work.

Enfold Sideboard

The Enfold Sideboard combines industrial materiality with residential references for a new perspective on modern storage. Made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds its top and bottom in solid oak, the Enfold Sideboard fuses cold and warm materials for a unique expression, paired with the vibrantly modern expression of its ridged steel doors. Winner of the Golden Compass in 1994, the Mobil chest of drawers is presented in a matt version in white, black, green, plum and light blue. The new edition is made of recycled industrial materials, and has the same robust construction and functionality as the original. The basic element of the system is the drawer, alternated with shelves and tops, connected by an aluminium structure. In this new finish, the structure is coloured and the wheels are coloured too, now black instead of grey. This versatile product shouldn’t be restricted to use in the office as it fits perfectly into every room in the home, from the bedroom to the living room and the bathroom too.

Shoji Madia in glass

From the mind of Isao Hosoe and Lorenzo De Bartolomeis the sideboard Shoji Madia is born, a storage unit on castors or fixed base in different heights and lengths, with square and elegant lines.  The structure of the storage unit is in smoked glass, and is provided with sliding door/s available in several mirror finishes. The top back panel door or doors can also be in ceramic available in a range of polished or matt finishes. The drawer units in walnut Canaletto, Siberian Ash or Eucalipto, or matt RAL lacquered are optional.

Bookcase Hemingway

The bookcase Hemingway with its refined and strong shapes was created by architect Massimo Castagna.  It is a bookcase with frame in solid wood, made of uprights and beams, wall or ceiling fixing.  The uprights are made lighter by frontal and lateral fissures and are characterised by inserts in polished metal. The horizontal beams physically and visually define the shape and rhythm of this bookcase. The structure supports the shelves and storage units available in different functions and dimensions.  The bookcase Hemingway can accommodate horizontal storage units with flap opening and vertical units with hinge door, made of glass and wood. It also has a wooden desk top.  The glass shelves and their peculiar side slots, are fixed to the uprights through interlocking pins, each shelf is provided with fall arrest security system.  Vertical uprights and horizontal beams in solid wood complete the structure and are available in Siberian Ash or Eucalipto, with inserts and supports in polished chrome or gold. The shelves are in extra clear or smoked glass and the feet are height adjustable.  Standard heights are 260 and 300cm, also available in custom size, and Tonelli Design proposes shelves in standard size 60 and 100cm. Storage units with flap opening and hinge door with structure in smoked glass and wooden door. Wooden desk top in 100cm, can be fitted out with cable entry. TV module with open storage unit in wood, size 160cm, to accommodate TVs up to 65 inches. 

Bookcase Quiller

The bookcase Quiller is made of extra clear bevelled glass and is composed of six shelves closed on the sides. It was designed by designer Uto Balmoral and is perfect to be placed against the wall or free standing in living areas or work spaces.  This bookcase is synonymous with lightness and linearity, thanks to the straight shapes and the transparency of the glass, that creates light effects that give brightness to the environment and thus the illusions of greater breadth. It is meant for modern environments and is an excellent match for minimalistic furniture complements.
